🌙 El Diablo y la Luna is located in a very open area with ample street parking available right next to the hotel, making it very convenient to unload your car or get in and out of tour vans or taxis. 🍉 El Diablo y la Sandia is located in a very crowded street, there is a public parking right across the street from the B&B.

Oaxaca is wonderful all year round. Its cultural festivals, food markets, and mild climate make every season special. However, my personal favorite is September: the weather is delightful, the rainy season has just ended, everything is green and feels very clean, and there are also fewer people, which makes booking restaurants and taking tours much more pleasant.

Our neighborhood is an authentic Oaxacan barrio—very safe and peaceful. Many guests tell us they love staying here because of the proximity to all the life and activity Oaxaca offers, while still being in a very quiet area, ideal for truly resting. 🍉 El Diablo y la Sandia is right in the centro area in a busy street very near the Zocalo.

Yes, all of our rooms have a private bathroom for your comfort and privacy. Some of them also have views of a private terrace.

Unfortunately, we don’t. Airport regulations are quite strict regarding transportation, and we haven’t set up a system to pick up guests directly. However, the airport offers an official shuttle service that is easy to use.

Of course. We are happy to recommend local restaurants, markets, mezcal tastings, and day trips based on your interests. When you arrive, you’ll also receive a personalized printed map with all my favorite spots — what to do, what to see, and where to eat in the city.

Oaxaca’s climate is generally mild. The rooms are designed for natural ventilation and are equipped with fans. That said, we are currently installing air conditioning in some rooms in the near future, so please feel free to ask if this is something important for your stay.
