THE LAND

For years, I was searching for the right piece of land — somewhere that felt calm, authentic, and connected to everyday life in Oaxaca. It wasn’t easy to find a place that checked all the boxes, and I looked for a long time before coming across this one.

What stood out immediately was the location. It’s set in a quiet, traditional Oaxacan neighborhood, with a strong sense of community and a slower pace of life. You still see neighbors out in the street, small local shops around the corner, and a daily rhythm that feels genuine and unpolished in the best way.

At the same time, it’s close enough to the center to be convenient, but far enough to feel peaceful and removed from the busier areas. That balance was exactly what I had been looking for.

The moment I found it, I knew this was the place — not just because of the land itself, but because of everything around it.
